This explains what we collect when you contact us or register for one of our events, what we do with it, who else sees it, and how to make us stop. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Tropical Property, which also trades as Tropical Property Asia, markets overseas residential property, principally in Phuket, Thailand. We are operated from Poland by Max Folaron.
For anything in this policy, including a request to delete your information, write to max.folaron@tropicalproperty.pl.
Only what you give us. In practice that is your name, your email address and your phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us in a message or a conversation.
We do not ask for and do not want your NRIC, FIN, passport number, identity card number or any financial account details. Please do not send them.
We do not buy contact lists and we do not scrape them.
We contact you by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp and email, using the number and address you gave us.
We share your name and contact details with the developer of the property you enquired about, and with the organiser of any event you register for. They use it to confirm your attendance and to answer questions we are not the right people to answer.
Developers we work with are based in Thailand. Event organisers may be based outside your country. Where we pass your information to them, we require them to protect it to a standard comparable to the law that applies to you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone whose only interest is marketing something unrelated to the enquiry you made.
We operate from Poland, so your information is handled in the European Union. When we pass it to a developer or an organiser, it may be transferred to Thailand or elsewhere outside your country.
If you are in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Act applies to how we contact you. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation applies. We apply both rather than choosing whichever is more convenient.
Until you ask us to stop, or until it is clear the enquiry has gone nowhere and there is no reason to keep it. Buying property abroad is a slow decision, so we would rather keep a file open than delete it and lose the thread.
Ask us to delete it and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
If you are in Singapore you may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission. If you are in the European Union you may complain to your national data protection authority, which for Poland is UODO.
This website does not run advertising pixels, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for that font.
If you reached us from an advertisement on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collected information about that separately, under Meta's own privacy policy rather than ours.
We answer these ourselves. There is no ticketing system and no form to fill in.
